I hate to admit this but I've become rather shocking at remembering friends' birthdays and their kids' birthdays. No one wants to be 'that friend' so I bought myself this 'Birthday Book' from Exclusive Books (and ordered the latest Adrian Mole, so excited!) Most of you Saffers probably know this (I didn't till yesterday) but Exclusive Books arranges 'meet and greets' with authors. Yesterday, all the shoppers were munching on cake and listening to an author chat about his book - no idea who he was! So if you love books and eating cake with authors, perhaps that's something to sign up for ;)

i love all books. all.
Good idea! I need one of them, I recently forgot one of my old friends birthdays and felt terrible. Can't always rely on Facebook hey!
Exactly! Not everyone posts their bdays. Heehee.
What a lovely book Lauren.....I miss "Exclusive books" here in the US of A! it is a lovely idea.....facebook came to my rescue....he-he!
This is very pretty, I always rely on facebook to tell me when peoples' birthdays are which is quite bad!
Hello Harriet and thanks:) Yeah, I used to do that too but sometimes I don't get a chance to check or the odd mate doesn't publish their bday - eeek! Sorry friends I forgot!
