The Neighbourgoods Market in Braams!

Jon and I were in Jozi last weekend which was kind of a big deal seeing as he NEVER does city holidays. My parents had kindly treated us to flights to visit his mama who hasn't been well. We had such a lovely time staying with her, cooking up feasts and listening to old 70s rock! On Saturday, I managed to twist Jon's arm into taking me to Braamfontien which seems to be the most Instagrammed neck of the woods right now! Jon absolutely HATED it. Lols. Crowds + Noise + well...the entire vibe is not his cuppa. I, on the other hand, LOVED IT! It felt very Londonish in that freezing wind, shuffling between colourful buildings, strung up with lights. We noshed a delish waffle and then hot-tailed it outa there in a bid to salvage our relationship! I would love to visit again to check out all the cute shops and coffee spots but next time I'll take a buddy x
