Little Miss Grumpy Pants

Deary me, I have not been a happy camper today. My eyes are sore from not having my specs and I'm having serious caffeine withdrawals because my colleagues and I have started a bit of a summer detox. I think the trick to surviving a detox is to make the food look and taste as lovely as possible. This was my 10am snack. It's rather pretty but goodness knows, I'll be diving into the mince pies come the holidays.

Green tea ^ 5.

Horrors.

I do it in Januaries. Caffeine headaches are the worst! How many days you hitting it?

Haha. I loathe green tea! I've tried it a couple of times but I can't bare to be apart from my beloved Five Roses. So 'cuz I can't have that, I'm on the Rooibos for now which isn't that bad:) Gonna try keep with till the 23rd. I really did need a bit of a kick like this. I've spent 6 months catching up on the SA junk food I couldn't get in the Uk, hee!

I totally feel you on the coffee thing BUT Dr. Oz says 1 cup in the morning is actually quite beneficial, just to wake you metabolism up. I went from six cups to one a day and 2 liters of water and I can tell you I feel flippen great. My skin is loving it too. Cranberry juice is so awesome for detoxing, also hot water, honey and lemon (I’m not a fan of tea so if there is NO coffee I drink this). Good luck, may the force be strong with you..

I guess the incessant rain is not helping the detox feeling! Well done! [I found a health book that tells me coffee is good for me, so I am sticking with this one!]
