Winter has arrived in South Africa so Candy D, Andy D, Totwaan, LJ and I went to celebrate in the berg! We rolled in the leaves, jammed in the dark, roasted marshmallows, swung on the swings, made one mother of a potjie, read magazines in the sun and I even attempted a cheeky swing at golf. FYI: I think the kiddies' put-put course is more my style but there is something satisfying about wielding a club in the mountains! Almost as satisfying as hotdog lunches and afternoon naps. x
