Sarah's Cowgirl Hens Jol!

Sarah is getting married next weekend - so we celebrated her last official weekend as a single cowgirl! There were too many shots flying around for the SLR so I took along the happy snapper. Happy hens Sarah! Can't wait to party again next weekend! x

Panda Down

I wish I had pretty pictures to post but sadly I don't. This is always a busy time of year for me work-wise and it's been rainy and dark and...last Thursday, a horrible cold crept up on me and I've been a spluttering, coughing wreck since. Think I am doing my colleagues' heads in! But the world is full of nice people who do nice things - like Gary who poured me lemon and honey tea yesterday when he saw I was ill, and Taneal who offered to come over and cook me dinner. I'm going to burrow under the covers and catch up on your blogs now. Hopefully I can shake off these germs by the weekend!

On Saturday, we braved the torrential downpour to huddle around a table of pizza and beer. It was gooood. Happy birthday Toesy and G. Thanks for a cracker of a jol! x

Life lately through my phone

Hey, hey! 

I bought cupcakes for Neil's birthday and mom baked brownies for my gran's birthday. 

All the treats were EPIC!

My gran is moving to a smaller home and donated lots of lovely things to me including these old-school chalks. Starry sparklers for the brownies!

I also got a vintage Bingo set from my gran and set off camping with Tarryn.

We drank vodka cranberry for breakfast and hiked through lush scenery.

I took the Monday off and went thrifting with my mom and had lunch at my favourite, Bellevue in Kloof. Stopped to smell the flowers along the way.

Went through all my old stuff with my mom and found my first ballet tutu and shoes.

Peace! Taneal and I found this epic little antiques store, tucked behind a farmhouse. It was covered in broken teapots and plates.



Taneal found a Jolling Cat!



The yummiest cake I've ever seen.



My snow sidekick and Tennant had a sherry-fuelled jam on Friday eve!

Nikki's 30th!

On Saturday, a bunch of us hit the local pub, hid in a cellar and then surprised the birthday girl! 

As you can see, we're maturing like fine wines in our thirties.
